Pat Mohide

Bio

Dr. Patrick T. Mohide is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at McMaster University. He was Chair of the Department from 1999-2009 and acting Chair from 2009-2010.

President of the Association of Professors of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Canada (APOG) 2006-2008. He also played important roles as President of Regional Medical Associates (RMA), Secretary of the SOGC, clinical coordinator in multiple national and international randomized trials and Clinical Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Hamilton Health Sciences.

Dr. Mohide received his medical degree from the University of Toronto in 1969, and completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at McMaster University in 1974. He went on to complete a Fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at McMaster in 1975. After having developed a strong interest in clinical trials and the evaluation of diagnostic technologies, he also obtained a Masters of Science in Design, Measurement and Evaluation (Clinical Epidemiology) at McMaster in 1989.
