Bio

Limor Helpman joined McMaster University and the Juravinski Cancer Center as an Associate Professor in 2017. She trained in Tel Aviv and in Toronto, where she completed a fellowship program at the University of Toronto (Princess Margaret and Odette/Sunnybrook Cancer Centres) in 2010 and returned to pursue a career in Gynecologic Oncology in Israel.

Research Interests

Current research and clinical interests include genetic predispositions to cancer, minimally invasive surgery, Women’s Healthcare research, quality improvement and Enhanced Recovery after Surgery. Dr. Helpman is also engaged in a Master’s program in Public Health at McMaster University, which she hopes will further her goal to investigate and improve women’s health in Canada and globally.
